Election Primary 2008

AstroFutureTrends did an excellent analysis of the major Republican and Democratic candidates for the Primary on February 8, 2008. This is just one step of the process to election and moving into a new home at the White House.

If there is anything that is true about this election is that people are passionate one way or another. There does not seem to be any "anyone is better than..." philosophy. Interestingly enough, making announcements when the Moon is Void of Course doesn't seem to be the only Astrological road block for Mitt Romney.

Here is the low down, but for in depth coverage, visit the post Astrology of Super Primary Day

Hillary Clinton: The Feb. 5 lineup of planets in Aquarius will be closely opposing Clinton’s powerful lineup of Leo planets and squaring her Scorpio stellium. A candidate needs strength to move ahead and all these fixed planets in challenging aspect will certainly give her a big boost. I'll try to write more about Clinton in a later blog because the power of all these planets hitting any one's horoscope like they are going to hit hers could be very difficult to handle--although it can produce great success.

John Edwards: On the day of the New Hampshire primary, two weeks before super-primary day, Jupiter will have opposed Edwards' Mercury, planetary ruler of his Gemini Sun. This shows the culmination of big plans, although it could be that the project is too big to manage to a successful conclusion. In other words, Edwards may come out of New Hampshire in good shape, but be unable to carry that momentum into super-primary day. Saturn will square his Jupiter on super-primary day, and this means frustration and limitations.

John McCain:
Saturn will be hitting his Sun, and Pluto will be hitting his North Node. Will this mean “lights out” on his candidacy or just the opposite—a newly forged light saber for the candidate who used to claim (in 2000) to be battling against the Dark Side? Saturn conjoining the Sun can sound like a downer, but in reality it is often a time of serious, even Herculean, effort. Pluto’s entry into Capricorn will engender new respect for the elderly—including a man who would be the oldest president ever elected.

Barack Obama: His Leo planets (Mercury, Sun, Uranus) will also be opposed by the Aquarius lineup on super-primary day, but not as closely as Clinton’s. Saturn will conjunct his Pluto. Pluto will be opposing his Venus, probably not such a good thing for a political candidate in the heat of an election.

Rudy Giuliani: He will have Saturn squaring his Gemini Sun-Uranus conjunction, indicating a difficult time for his candidacy. However, he too has a powerhouse of Leo planets (Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Moon) which will be opposed by the Aquarius stellium on primary day.

Mitt Romney: Saturn on Feb. 5 will be opposing his unassuming Pisces Mars, indicating difficulties and blocked efforts. It’s hard to see this one taking off on Feb. 5.

I just finished setting up the candidates in my website. Here are some links to compare candidates on election day. The name links to the persons info and natal chart, while Election_Day links to that persons transits and interpretations on election day:

The Dems:

Thanks for sharing with everyone! AND for providing individual links. It makes it so much easier to get the specific info.

Stuttering Poet... Cute name! How'd you claim that moniker?

It makes life easier to make a joke of my speech impediment. My stutter isn't very noticeable these days, I manage to make it sound like a reflective pause ;)

I can't claim the creation of that name though, I just added the zero. It's from an "Extreme" song called "Tragic Comic" - "I'm a hapless romantic, stut-tut-tut-ter-ing p-poet"

I always liked that song.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys my site. I tried to make it as easy for novices as possible. Know your birth info and the site does the rest.

I really like web programming, it's like LEGO's, except I get to make my own pieces.

I hardly noticed your speech impediment at all! Believe it or not I knew someone who was a very talented actor. Never stuttered once. Had great tone placement and knocked the socks off of those who saw him.

Outside of rehearsals and on the stage, however, he stuttered all the time. I asked him about it once, and he said, "I-i-i-t's the i-i-i-ntensitiy."

Do you have any updates you would like to share?

Thankfully, my fingers don't stutter much, and I have an anti-stutter button :D

I recently created an astrological weather application that uses the same engine as the transit charts.

Visible via the Astro Weather link on the Strange House or at this astrological weather link.

I've also got 350+ public astrological profiles of celebrities, rich people, and any user who's chosen to make their profile public. It's not just politicians (although there are a few more in there.) Every user gets 138 years of daily horoscopes from 1900 - 2038 when the linux y2k38 bug appears.

If you've got any celebrities that I dont' already have, or want to see a particular person listed, let me know. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the site.

And, my new creation is an AJAX chart generator. It creates code to embed into a blog or myspace page. Wherever! Chart Code Generator at The Strange House

Unfortunately, you can't use div tags in comments or I'd leave an example :(
